Our History
In 1992, eight visionaries introduced the idea of a buying and networking group for leading distributors in the hose and rubber industry. By March 1993, the Industrial Distributor Co-op (IDCO) was officially launched in Pensacola, FL.
Originally formed to leverage volume and strengthen buying power, the co-op quickly realized that its greatest value lay in the network itself. Co-op meetings became a place to share ideas, best practices, and industry benchmarks—building strong relationships, lasting friendships, and a high level of trust that still defines IDCO today.
Today, IDCO is also known as The Hoser Network—a name that reflects the culture and connection built over the years. What began as a purchasing group continues to provide strong buying power, while growing into a co-op dedicated to the industrial hose and fittings industry—where relationships, trust, and shared success drive the network.
